John K. Benoit, Jr., is Executive Vice President & Trust Department Manager for American Bank and Trust Company, N.A. He is responsible for the strategic direction, safety, audit & accountability of the department as well as for the management of individual trust relationships and investment management accounts. He has over 35 years of practical knowledge & experience. He was the former Senior Vice President and Manager for Johnson Heritage Trust Company, Des Moines, IA and Vice President and Manager for Norwest Bank, N.A., Quad Cities now known as Wells Fargo. He received an A.A. degree from Grandview College, a B.A. degree from Drake University and holds the Certified Senior Advisor® (CSA) designation. He is a member of the Trinity Health Foundation Board of Trustees, past president of the Quad City Estate Planning Council, and a member of the Davenport Country Club.

Brian C. Wright JD, serves as Vice President & Trust Officer for American Bank & Trust.  He is responsible for assisting clients with the planning and administration of investment agencies, philanthropic gifts, personal trusts, estates, conservatorships and guardianships.  Brian has 25 years of experience in financial, charitable and estate planning.  He formerly served as Director of Planned Giving for Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa and as Director of Planned and Major Gifts at Des Moines University.  Brian currently serves on the Board of the Animal Rescue League of Iowa Foundation and the Illowa Partnership for Philanthropic Planning.  He is a two time graduate of the University of Iowa with a B.A. and a J.D. from the College of Law.

Thomas E. Johanns is Vice President & Trust Officer for American Bank and Trust Company, N.A. Tom provides wealth management and financial planning and brings over 13 years of experience as a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones Investments and Wells Fargo Advisors. He received a B.S. from Iowa State University and holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) designation from the College for Financial Planning. In addition to Tom's investment expertise, he has an extensive background in personal and business retirement planning and obtained the Series 7, Series 63, and Series 66 Investment Licenses. His interests include helping with the Special Olympics and support of the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School in Vinton, IA.

Kathleen Lamonica Krochock, JD, is Vice President and Trust Officer for American Bank and Trust Company, N.A. in St. Charles, Illinois. Kathy is responsible for the administration of trusts, estates, guardianships, IRAs and investment agency relationships.  She has been advising clients and their families in the Chicago market with financial, retirement and estate planning matters since 1984. She formerly served as a senior fiduciary administrator for First Chicago, Merrill Lynch Trust Company and the Trust Company of Illinois.  She is a graduate of Bradley University with a B.S. in accounting and The John Marshall Law School with a Juris Doctorate.  Kathy currently serves on the Board of the DuPage Senior Citizen’s Council, is an active member of the Kane and DuPage County Bar Associations and several local Estate Planning Councils.

Jennifer A. Johnson, JD, is Vice President and Trust Officer for American Bank and Trust Company, N.A. in St. Charles, Illinois. Jennifer concentrates on the administration of traditional trusts, estates, guardianships, IRAs, and special needs trusts. Jennifer also administers the Life With Dignity OBRA ’93 Pooled Trust, a pooled trust for the benefit of disabled children and adults. Prior to joining American Bank and Trust, Jennifer worked as a legal services attorney focusing on seniors and individuals receiving public benefits, and was in private practice assisting clients with their estate planning and closely held business planning. She is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a B.A. in English and Philosophy, University of Illinois with a M.A. in Comparative Literature, and Harvard Law School with a Juris Doctorate. Jennifer currently serves on the Advisory Board of the DuPage County Illinois Volunteer Money Management Program, is the chair of the Elder Law Committee of the DuPage County Bar Association, is a member of the Kane County and Illinois Bar Associations, and is active with the Girls Scouts of the USA.

Josie A. Wahl is Vice President - Trust Officer for American Bank and Trust Company, N. A. She has over 25 years of Trust experience, and will assist clients with estate planning and administration of personal trusts, estates, conservatorships, guardianships, investment agencies and special needs trusts. Josie graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota, Crookston and completed the Cannon Financial Institute in Operations and Cannon Trust School. Her interests include working with individuals with special needs and the elderly. She is involved with the Moline Rotary Club, Quad Cities Estate Planning Council, The ARC of the Quad Cities, In Touch Adult Day Care and Susan G. Komen Quad Cities.

Lori A. Duffy is the Executive Administrative Assistant at American Bank and Trust Company. She serves as the principal internal and external liaison for the Executive Vice President and Trust Manager. She has over 20 years of experience working with trusts and estates. Lori graduated from Kirkwood College and has taken many courses over the years, keeping current on trust issues. She previously worked for First National Bank of the Quad Cities, now known as Wells Fargo Bank – Quad Cities. She is a member of The Women's Connection.

Nadine A. Hofstetter is the Trust Operations Manager at American Bank and Trust Company. She is responsible for the daily operations of the Trust Department. Nadine has over 12 years trust and related banking experience with an emphasis on Operations and IRA administration.   She received her Accredited Trust Operations Professional (ATOP) certification through Campbell University and completed the Trust Operations course through ABA/AIB.   Nadine has also obtained the Series 7 and Series 63 Investment Licenses.

Alvine, Attorneys At Law.
