Thomas E. Johanns is Senior Vice President & Trust Manager for American Bank and Trust Company, N.A.  Tom is responsible for the strategic direction, safety, audit and accountability of the Trust Department. He is also responsible for individual trust relationships and investment management accounts as well as  portfolio  management of the Trust Department investment models.  Tom has over 16 years of experience as a Portfolio Manager and Trust Officer. He received a B.S. from Iowa State University, is a Graduate of  the Cannon Trust School from Cannon Financial Institute and holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) designation from the College for Financial  Planning.  Tom is a member of the Quad Cities Estate Planning Council as well as serving his community as a Township Trustee and as a member of the Board of Education.  His interests include helping with the Special Olympics and support of the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School in Vinton, IA.

Brian C. Wright JD, serves as Vice President & Trust Officer for American Bank & Trust.  He is responsible for assisting clients with the planning and administration of investment agencies, philanthropic gifts, personal trusts, estates, conservatorships and guardianships.  Brian has 25 years of experience in financial, charitable and estate planning.  He formerly served as Director of Planned Giving for Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa and as Director of Planned and Major Gifts at Des Moines University.  Brian currently serves on the Board of the Animal Rescue League of Iowa Foundation and the Illowa Partnership for Philanthropic Planning.  He is a two time graduate of the University of Iowa with a B.A. and a J.D. from the College of Law.

Kathleen Lamonica Krochock, JD, is Vice President and Trust Officer for American Bank and Trust Company, N.A. in St. Charles, Illinois. Kathy is responsible for the administration of trusts, estates, guardianships, IRAs and investment agency relationships.  She has been advising clients and their families in the Chicago market with financial, retirement and estate planning matters since 1984. She formerly served as a senior fiduciary administrator for First Chicago, Merrill Lynch Trust Company and the Trust Company of Illinois.  She is a graduate of Bradley University with a B.S. in accounting and The John Marshall Law School with a Juris Doctorate.  Kathy currently serves on the Board of the DuPage Senior Citizen’s Council, is an active member of the Kane and DuPage County Bar Associations and several local Estate Planning Councils.

Jennifer A. Johnson, JD, is Vice President and Trust Officer for American Bank and Trust Company, N.A. in St. Charles, Illinois. Jennifer concentrates on the administration of traditional trusts, estates, guardianships, IRAs, and special needs trusts. Jennifer also administers the Life With Dignity OBRA ’93 Pooled Trust, a pooled trust for the benefit of disabled children and adults. Prior to joining American Bank and Trust, Jennifer worked as a legal services attorney focusing on seniors and individuals receiving public benefits, and was in private practice assisting clients with their estate planning and closely held business planning. She is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a B.A. in English and Philosophy, University of Illinois with a M.A. in Comparative Literature, and Harvard Law School with a Juris Doctorate. Jennifer currently serves on the Advisory Board of the DuPage County Illinois Volunteer Money Management Program, is the chair of the Elder Law Committee of the DuPage County Bar Association, is a member of the Kane County and Illinois Bar Associations, and is active with the Girls Scouts of the USA.

Ann M. Neumann, JD, serves as Vice President and Trust Officer for American Bank and Trust Company, N.A.  She is responsible for the administration of trusts, estates, guardianships, IRAs and investment agency relationships.  Ann has been advising clients and their families in the Quad Cities with financial, retirement and estate planning matters since 1997.  She spent several years in the private practice of law advising clients on estate planning, long term care planning and real estate.  Ann then served as a financial advisor with Robert W. Baird & Co. Inc. where she obtained her Series 7 investment license and was responsible for the investment and portfolio management of individual clients.  Ann is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a B.A. in Political Science and Valparaiso University with a Juris Doctorate.  Ann serves as President of Northside Elementary School PTA and as a Trustee at Grace United Methodist Church in Geneseo, IL.  Ann has served as Vice President and Financial Officer for the Junior League of the Quad Cities, and was named Member of the Year in 2004.

Lori A. Duffy is the Executive Administrative Assistant at American Bank and Trust Company. She serves as the principal internal and external liaison for the Executive Vice President and Trust Manager. She has over 20 years of experience working with trusts and estates. Lori graduated from Kirkwood College and has taken many courses over the years, keeping current on trust issues. She previously worked for First National Bank of the Quad Cities, now known as Wells Fargo Bank – Quad Cities. She is a member of The Women's Connection.

Nadine A. Hofstetter is the Trust Operations Manager at American Bank and Trust Company. She is responsible for the daily operations of the Trust Department. Nadine has over 12 years trust and related banking experience with an emphasis on Operations and IRA administration.   She received her Accredited Trust Operations Professional (ATOP) certification through Campbell University and completed the Trust Operations course through ABA/AIB.   Nadine has also obtained the Series 7 and Series 63 Investment Licenses.

Joy D. Gradert is a Trust Administrator specializing in estate administration at American Bank and Trust Company. Joy attended the University of Illinois and has over 20 years experience working with trusts and estates. She previously worked for Nash, Nash, Bean & Ford and John W. Sandholm and Robert G. Alvine, Attorneys At Law. She currently serves as Andover Township Clerk in Henry County and is an active member of the Osco Community Church, Illinois State Stock Horse Association, and the Tri-City Trailriders.
